Putting the plan / actual projects payments RRS feed

  • Good day! How best to introduce the plan / actual payments for control in MS Project 2010.

  • Hi Hellfirexx--

    You should first create a WBS (work breakdown structure), detailling activities, milestones and dependencies.

    Then MS Project allows you creating cost resources such as "flight expensive", "restaurant", "licences expenses" giving you the ability to plan cost and track actuals.

    Not sure exactly what you are seeking but be advised that Project is a scheduling application and although it does have functionality to track project costs, it is not designed to provide full cost accounting for a project plan.
