DC Server Stops responding RRS feed

  • Dear All

    i have a problem in my DC Server which is a DHCP as well.

    it stops responding and cannot be ping sometimes, usually once a week. i don't know how to fix the problem 

    after restarting the server, everything seems fine. 

    kindly advice.

  • Hi,

    1.What do you get when you ping FQDN and IP after no responding?

    2.What do you get when you nslookup FQDN?

    3.Please try to run 'dcdiag' in CMD on your server.

    4.Which OS do you use?

    5.Please check the firewall,router/switch,3rd-party software,make sure there is no filter and blocking.

    6.You could perform a network captuer on problem server.Determine where is breaking down.
