Task Summary set to No in under the Publish column how do I change this? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    In error I set the publish column to No in Project Professional 2010 when I try setting it back to Yes the field is lock. How do I get this to revert back to Yes?

    The published column is always set to "No" fro summary task. We cannot change it to "Yes".

  • Thanks for the response.   Okay I guess my problem is that it is not publishing to the resources timesheet.

  • I think that if you add the Task Hierarchy column to your the Timesheet views (e.g. My Timesheet, My Work), your users will be able to group their assigned tasks by summary task.  Unfortunately, I don't think that the administrator can define the default grouping within the view.  At least, I don't see an option for it when I try to edit either the My Timesheet or My Work views.
