Formula only works in Project Pro, not Project Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello-

    HELP!  I am trying to create a traffic light indicator on a enterprise level and it works when I make it as a local custom field in MS Project Pro 2013.  But when I try to create it in Project Online as a Custom Enterprise Field I get that there is an error in my formula.  Here is copy of my formula.  NOTE: Expected Percentage Complete is another custom enterprise field that I created with a formula, the result is a number.

    IIf([% Complete]<>100 And [Finish]<Now(),"Late-Finish", IIf([% Complete]>=[Expected Percentage Complete], "On-Track", IIf([% Complete]<[Expected Percentage Complete], "At-Risk", IIf([Start]>=Now() Or [Start]>=(Now()+5) ,"On-Track"))))

    What is the difference between Project Pro and Project Online

  • FYI, I tried creating the field in MS Project Pro and then creating the Enterprise Field from Project Pro and it worked!  Although I can not edit it from the server settings but that's ok.
