  • Hi, have you tried to do this by cmd and using a .wsp package?

first retrack the solution from vs and central administration, the build the package in vs ther copy it to the stsadm path (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\BIN), now you open cmd has administrator and go to that path and type this command:

    cd C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\BIN

    stsadm -o addsolution -filename "yourProyectName.wsp"

    hope this help you

  • Hi,

You need to verify below point:

    1. What is scope of your feature file?

    2. Have you tried to deploy through stsadm as Necroft?

    3. If your feature is activating while deploy through VS then you need to check your code.

Can you please get back to us if still have same issue

  • Hi,

    you might try 2 thing-

1- do the IISreset, if still you face the problem after iis reaet then try 2.

    2- Assign HttpContext.Current = null

This is a generic error and can happen from multiple way.

    Thanks
