Get PG disk allocation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I'd like to know if there's a way of getting the following information using PS.

    When I right-click on a PG, I'm able to click on Modify Disk Allocation, and this allows me to view (or change, if I wanted to): Data size, Replica volume and Recovery point sizes for a particular PG. Is there a PS commandlet(s) that will allow me to view this sort of information?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    This should work for you.

    #Shows Disk allocation for each datasource
    #run 2 times to get accurate latest, oldest and total recovery points count

    $DPMservername=&"hostname"
    "Selected DPM server = $DPMservername"
    $PG=get-protectiongroup $DPMServerName
    foreach ($member in $PG)
    {
    $ds=get-datasource $member
    $alloc=Get-DatasourceDiskAllocation $ds
    $alloc|format-list
    }
