Memory Issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Gunna sound like a stupid question but it needs to be asked when the user is logged onto his PC about 3PM GMT time. Everyday he gets a error telling him the memory in his PC is low please reboot.

Ive tried increasing the pagefile but had no success after thats increased also tried a memory test on the current RAM it passed that.

  • The picture is not so helpful, but it shows me that the modified memory usage is too high.

Check this topic and the statement of Pavel:

Modified memory is memory that was allocated by some application and then removed from the application's working set, usually because it hasn't been used for a long time. The fact that most of your memory is in this state means two things:

Do you run a program called bcmwltry.exe?

This belongs to your Wireless driver. Try to kill it and look if you get the usage again. If not, this is the causing program.

So update the drivers or use AutoRuns and disable the option to start the program at startup.
