Sticky Notes on brand new laptopn doesnt work RRS feed

    When i first got the laptop 5 days ago it already had windows 7 and sticky notes was working.

    I turned my laptop on today and now it is not working.

    When i try to open it, it says unspecified error and doesnt open. The target is set as %windir%\system32\StikyNot.exe   but when i say okay it comes up with the target is not valid.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hi, after checking your issue, it seems the error of your Sticky Notes. Please try to run this program form C:\Windows\System32\StikyNot.exe.

    ·         Open a Command Prompt to run the following command to fix corrupted system files.

     

    1)Click the Start button and type "Command Prompt" in the search box.

    2)Right click Command Prompt to run as Administrator.

    3)Type: sfc /scannow to scan the whole disk.

     

    Anymore, you can copy StikyNot.exe from another available Operating System to the current computer.
