  • Hi,

What exactly do you mean by accessing SharePoint 2010 database ?, if its simply using the data from SP 2010 then you can use SharePoint 2010 Web Services or custom web service where necessary to establish communication between Moss 2007 and SharePoint 2010.

  • Hi,

You can Use External Content Types, and connect to MOSS web services.

For more information to how use Web service with External Content Types: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee556431.aspx

    Hope that helps a little

  • Indeed you can use SharePoint 2010 web services from MOSS,

or you can use the SharePoint 2010 Client Object Model from MOSS,

or you can use the Page Viewer web part to display a SharePoint 2010 page in MOSS.
