Manage View for User in PWA 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have created some different group in PWA. The project manager can see the loading of their resource when they go in the resource center and when they click on the Resources assignments.

The resource (team member) wants to see their loading. I play with the "Project web app permission", now the ressource can see the ressource center but they don't see the loading.(in fact they don't see anything)

    Could you help on this??

  • Finally I found the problem,

When I was in the manage group section. You can change the permission but you can also click on the selected categories and another menu appears! There was a interference between the 2 menu's!

Project Web App Permissions manages permissions at the highest level in Project Server 2010 for ALL users.  If you disable a permission in the Project Web App Permissions page, NO ONE can perform the action specified by the permission.  Group permissions affect only those users included in the Group, while Category permissions affect the users in Groups that contain the Category.  Hope this helps.
