    Hello,
    We are in the planning stages for a MBAM deployment.  I remember reading a while ago about creating a master Bitlocker recovery key (Domain Admin Access only) incase the recovery key fails for whatever reason.

    That said, can anyone please assist me in finding literature on this feature?  I can't find it anywhere.

    Hi,

    there is no master recovery key.

    IF you have the right recovery password associated with the recovery key ID, it will never fail. Every machines has its own recovery key and password which is itself a master key. Access to these keys are restricted to the members of MBAM Helpdesk or Advanced Helpdesk users only.
