    Dear

    we need certificate for ADFS.

    facing error message in ADFS "The certificates with the CNG private key are not supported. Use a certificate based on a key pair generated by a legacy Cryptographic Service Provider"

    if we purchase the wildcard it will work ?

    Purpose: O365 user authenticate from on prem. Azure ADConnect without password sync.

    ADFS 2012 R2 does not support CNG based certificates. Is that the version you are using?
