  • Hi,

    Thank you for posting.

Please try the following suggestion to narrow down the issue:

    1.    Please ensure that the Bluetooth device and the cell phone is compatible with Windows Vista.

    2.
Please try to remove and reinstall the Bluetooth driver. If there is also a device driver for the phone, please also reinstall it in this way.

    Check the device driver

    ===============

    1) Click Start, right click Computer and choose Properties.

    2) Click Device Manager.

    3) Navigate to the device you want to check.

    4) Right click on it and choose “Uninstall”, click OK and reboot the computer.

    5) After the computer started, please check if it works. If not, please go to Device Manager and right-click on the device and choose “Update the driver software”.

    3.
Upgrade the device driver for the Bluetooth adapter and the phone.

Since the issue is related to the hardware, it is also recommended that you contact the computer and the phone’s manufactures for support.

    Hope this helps. Thanks.

    Dear  Nicholas Li:

I have all the latest drivers for my Bluetooth I spoke to the dell technician according to him it’s with the Broadcom I spoke to my phone company according to them it’s with vista so everyone is blaming each other

Dear Nicholas after I played with the vista Bluetooth  I discovered this happens  under services when there is a check mark  on WBTEXT  this  "windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth peripheral device" error happens when the checkmark is taken off this doesn’t happen

With the Samsung studio software installed the syn pc and mms composer doesn’t work  may be you will understand what is WBTEXT

If I find anything I will let you know

Please let me know if you found any solutions

    Thanks Nicholas Li
