    i, got c&c generals to work, thanks very much. I was just wondering about some other games that i cant even get to install under windows 7, games as follows :

    Age of Empires 3

    Age of Mythology Gold edition

     

    Also cant keep star wars knights of the old republic running, just crashes back to desktop in random places.

    If anyone has suggestions for me please reply as im tearing my hair out!!!!

     

    When are microsoft gonna realise that this piece of shit OS doesn't work

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with Windows 7. Don't forget that many of these games were released way before W7, and in some cases, prior to Vista as well. You need to check the game manufacturers website for any patches in order to make the game W7 compliant. Of course, in some cases that won't be possible as it would mean that the whole game code would need to be rewritten. Unfortunately, many game manufacturers would rather you buy a new compliant version rather than provide a patch for an existing version.
