Microsoft Edge not rendering docs.microsoft.com correctly while domain joined and on corporate network RRS feed

  • Question

  • When a domain joined computer is on our corporate network (WIFI, Ethernet, VPN), certain sites are experiencing issues.

    Example:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/

    -       Rendering is “broken”.

All other browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and even Internet Explorer is working.

Edge is working as expected during the following conditions:

    - If the computer is on "public internet".
    Example: WIFI hotspot or 4g.

    - docs.microsoft.com is added as a trusted site.

    - None domain joined computer on corporate network.

Has anyone ever seen this issue before?

  • Hello,

Try re-registering Microsoft Edge. Perform these steps:

    1. Search for Windows PowerShell using Cortana or Windows Search.

    2. From results, right click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

    3. Then type following command and press Enter key:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

    Let the command complete.

    4. Close Windows PowerShell.

Let us know if this helps!

  • There is no point in trying to reinstall Edge since it happens on all domain joined machines.
As I mentioned in the first post it works under several circumstances
