Project server PWA 2010 documents error: list does not exist RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

When I open Project in Project center, and click on document icon to find documents related with task.

Some of them say: "The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user. ". Just some, not all documents.

That problem occurred after I delete the document related with task, but the icon document in the left of task still here, it doesn't disappear.

    What should I do now?

    Thanks very much.

Answers

  • Thanks Amit,

I can able access the project documents.

Whatever I do, I cannot solve the error.

I deleted tasks that have document icon error, then re-create them. And the document icon disappear. Then add documents to these tasks again, and have no problem.

  • Hi there--

If you are able to open the page (LinkItemsPage.aspx) & As you said that you deleted a document.  Would suggest to publish the project from MS project & once completed, verify again. Once published the PWA will be in sync to project site.

    Hope that helps.

  • Hi there--

Are you able to access the project documents from project site ? A document which is linked to a task gets the LinkItemsPage.aspx that needs a WSSListType=101 (if you analyse the URL ) that represents a document library.

Please validate if it is "project documents" list deleted from project workspace or any out of box column deleted/updated from the same.

  • Hi DoLeVu--

If you don't have huge data of issues, risks , documents in the project site, You can delete & recreate a project site.

you can manually take a backup of issues/risks/docs & restore the same. You may also try with powershell to take the backu & restore.

    Hoep that helps.
