ExportMailbox cmdlet -SubjectKeywords paramater RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just did a test about this -SubjectKeywords parameter and id matches only if you enter the whole subject properly.

What i need to do is to be able to match a single word in a subject line

I tried to use wildcards but it did not work.

    My command was

get-mailbox "Mesut Bayrak" | Export-Mailbox -SubjectKeywords "_root" -TargetMailbox Administrator -TargetFolder 'MyData'

and the matching messagges subject is

    *****************_Web Activity Report_daily_****-**-**_****-**-**_root

    stars mean different timestamps

  • For the looks of what you posted, "_root" isn't a separate word, but the end of a string.
