my windows 7-64bit pc thinks it's a winXP pc. RRS feed

  • how do I get it back to windows 7 and keep it there?

  • Hi,

    Did you mean that the UI looks like Windows XP?

    Please check the version of your Windows by typing winver in Start Search to see what's version of your computer.

    If it's just the UI issue, we can change the theme to get it back:

    1. Right-click on your desktop and select "Personalize." 
    2. Click the Aero Themes and in a moment your theme is displayed. You can click on all the themes available to see which on you like best.

    If theme was failed to change, run following troubleshooter:

    In addition, if my understanding is incorrect, please post back the detailed description of your issue and the screenshot to show your problem should be more helpful for us to determine your issue.
