Exchange Server 2007 outlook 2010 problem RRS feed

  • Calender from user A and Calender from user B are different on user C,s computer when inputting appointments.

    User B comes up with sending an email to the user when an appointment is made while user A does not come up with the email prompt. How do I stop the email from being sent? (removing the prompt)

    The Exchange server is running on Windows Server 2008.  It is version Exchange Server 2007.

    A, B and C are all running outlook 2010.

    FYI on computer D it works 100% So I am sure that it is a simple setting for I am having trouble finding it.

  • Ok User 'C' is the person who has user A's and user B's on her outlook calender.  When she setups an appointment for user A its asks the time and location a long with the "notes" field.

    When she setups and appointment for User 'B' it asks her to send an email to user 'B' along with the time, location and "notes" fields.

    User B should act like user A.  Is that clear now?

  • I think that is clear, sounds like you may need to check the Delegate rights on both User A and User B for User C.  Go to each User ( A and B) and check their Delegates.  Also, double check the permissions on User A and Uer B calendar to see if they match.

  • I don't think you made your situation clear.  I got the part about there is an issue with some calendars and that one user's calendar is good.  So what exactly is the issue with the other calendars? What is different between User A, User B and User C?   What email or what prompt do you not want to see?  Can you give us more details?   Thanks.
