Did this account use roaming user profile? Also, please logon this user on other computers to see if the same issue still happens.
Regarding current information, we consider if the user profile cached on this computer has been corrupted.
Please try to delete the user folder for this account and related registry on this computer and re-login to check the issue.
1. Open "regedit.exe"
2. Navigate to "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList"
3. Click the sub-key that corresponds with the profile you deleted and right click and delete it.
Also, please check the event log to see if there is any error related to this issue and post back.
