Windows 8.1 Remote Assistance


  • I am using windows 8.1 in a domain environment. I am attempting to remote assist using advanced connection for helpdesk for my users. when I send the request it starts the process msra.exe on the target machine, however it never prompts the end user allowing me to connect. eventually it will say on my end that the person is not responding. it works just fine win 7 to win 8.1 and win 7 to win 7. but it will on work win 8.1 to win 7. please help, any advice/guidance/suggestions/fixes would be greatly appreciated. thank you
