Multi Site deployment Port Requirements

Question
-
Hi all,
i am working on a solution plan for a Multi Site Network containing Users, PSTN Lines and Conferencing Devices.
we planned to create a new Forest like Domain.com and make a Sub domain for every Region.i am talking about 50 separate Sites which are interconnected by MPLS. for the Security Reasons all of the Sites accessibility restricted to least ports needed and the network between Sites are completely Locked Down.
i have to prepare and deliver list of all ports needed for Lync solution between Sites. Can i have a bit of your Guys to index these Requirements?
Regards

You can lock down ports that clients use for media if you need to, here is a good link to get you started:

Hi,
Here is port requirement:

You can try to separately configure port ranges for different features as description in Elan’sblog.
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

i have a question yet,we have a customer project that includes two separate sites and on each Site deployed Lync with External Access(Edge,RP),what happens when a user homed and logged in on Edge of Site A wants to have a Conference with Users homed and logged in on Edge Site B,again there is no Direct Client Connectivity. I know Focus will be Created on Site A Front End, but how Remote users of Site B Connect to this Focus ? by Connecting to Site A Edge External IP or their Site Edge (Site B) proxies Connections to Site A Front End Servers ?Thursday, May 30, 2013 7:24 AM
