regarding site settings RRS feed

    hi,

    I am using share point 2007, I have 2 sites one is parent and one is child. for parent under site actions menu lot of options are getting displayed , but in the case of child under site actions menu I am able to see onle 3 options (create, Edit page, site settings ) why ??

    Hi Prashanth,

    On the child site go to Site Action > Site Settings > Site Features and activate Office SharePoint Server Publishing feature which will give you all the options which are on parent site.

    Hi Prashanth,

     

    Normally for a publishing site template have more options in the site actions dropdown while in a team site it will have only the above mentioned by you.

    I think you are having different templates for Parent site & Child site.
