Dashboard Designer Not found in Start menu RRS feed

  • Hi All,
    when I first installed the Dashboard Designer it found in the start ->Programs->Performance point server 2007->Dashboard Desiner  after it is unable to connect to server I have uninstalled(ie delete the designer shift+delete).Once again i install from central it wont found now.every time i have to goto monitoring central(http:\\servername:40000\central) and downloaded the designer.How to bring again Dashboard Designer to startmenu->Programs->pps2007->
    Kindly give your suggestions.

  • Since you already installed the ClickOnce application is doesn't need to perform the installation again, so it won't add the shortcut back into the start menu.  It sounds like all you did was delete the shortcut and you didn't actually delete the installation.  In order to delete the installation you will need to clear out your ClickOnce temporary install directory so that you will be prompted to run the installation again from Monitoring Central. To remove the files in Vista or Windows Server 2008 you would remove all of the files in the following directory for your user -- C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 and in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 it would be in -- C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Apps\2.0.  Just remember that in doing this you will need to reinstall all ClickOnce applications that have been installed on the workstation.
