Power Query - Missing rows when importing data from xlsx file RRS feed

  • I am trying to import data from an xlsx file with multiple worksheets. I found that Power Query automatically truncates the rows in some worksheets. 

    For example, in column 1 I have a mixture of text and date values. The text values are in row 1 to 5 and the date values starts from row 6 in customised date format. Power Query will only import row 1 to 5 and leave out values from row 6 onward. However data can be imported correctly if xlsx file has been is re-saved as .xlsb or .xls file or xlsm or even back to xlsx format.
