Dear Members, I am a systems engineer with security and messaging, I am now consulting an hospital. The manager asked me to write a report about the computers in the hospital. There are approximately 6000 computers here. The point is I have to detect the laptops here so that I will exclude them from the DHCP services. Is it possible to distinguish the laptops from the network so that I will be able to give ips through DHCP only to related computers of the hostpital. I have windows server 2003 installed as a domain controller here. I am domain administrator. I have all the privilidges to manage the system only thing I have to do is to detect the laptops on the network so that I will be able to eliminate them.
