Hi i have a WinTV-HVR-1300 (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_hvr1300.html) running on Windows Vista Ultimate RTM since Nov06, TV in media center was working fine through this time.
Last week i reinstalled Vista on a new hard-drive, i did this a few times (so have to re-activate over phone), media center was working fine with the drivers found in windows update. But yesterday, media center displayed the message "no tuner detected"... and something about buying a card.
I have use the hcwclear to remove all traces of the drivers/software and let windows redetect, download and install drivers, i have also manually downloaded drivers from Hauppaguge (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/Promotions/vista.html).
But none of this has worked - i _hope_ someone can help cause i really want to avoid reinstalling/reactivating vista again.
