    Hi Pub,

Unfortunately, Windows SteadyState currently doesn’t have this feature. However, we can achieve this with Internet Explorer’s (IE) Content Advisor feature:

    1. Open IE, click Tools -> Internet Options.

    2. Select the Contents tab. Click the Enable button to enable Content Advisor.

    3. Select the Approved Sites tab, input the website you would like to block. Click Never.

    4. Select the General tab, select the check box before “Users can see websites that have no rating”

    5. Click OK. Create a password for Content Advisor.

From now on, password will be required if you want to access the website. For more information about Content Advisor, please refer:

HOW TO: Use the Internet Explorer 6 Content Advisor to Control Access to Web Sites in Internet Explorer

In addition, Content Advisor settings can also be deployed via group policy [User Configuration\Windows Settings\Internet Explorer Maintenance\Security\Security Zones and Content Ratings].

If you need any further assistance on Content Advisor configuration, I suggest that you post to the Windows XP public newsgroup:

    http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.accessibility&cat=en_us_c76c1061-ff60-4921-8dde-b885ffd6b9eb&lang=en&cr=us

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other customers who read the newsgroups regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.  Thank you for your understanding.

Hope the above information is useful.

    Best Regards,
