Can´t pin to task bar RRS feed

  • Question

  • The pin to task bar option is available, however when I click on it nothing happens.

I´ve tried creating shortcuts and then dragging them

I´ve tried clicking on start menu, finding the program and right clicking it and pin and will not work

It happens with certain programs, I cannot pin windows explorer, task manager, onscreen keyboard.

It does work with the magnifying glass, firefox, control panel and others.

**Note I do get the pin to task bar option but it will do nothing**

  • Hi John123qwe,

      Happy New Year!

You can pin a shortcut to your taskbar:
     1. click [Start] and select [All Programs]

     2. right click on a shortcut in [All Programs]
     3. click [Pin to Taskbar]

  • In advance, sorry if I misunderstand.

I suppose you can do it, pin windows explorer, task manager, onscreen keyboard.

eg. Task Manager: Create a shortcut of Task Manager, and right click

  • It is not working, none of the options to pin to task bar is working. I´ve tried every option, creating shortcts too. The issue is not not getting the pin to task bar option, but clicking on it nothing happens.

  • I cannot say any further.
Windows Explorer, Task Manager, and On Screen Keyboard can be pinned to Taskbar and can work when they are clicked, with my environment.
