windows 7 enterprise to windows 10 enterprise

i done some research about that when you have windows 7 enterprise you can not get the free version of windows 10.

so i had a look at Microsoft support and i says "

Enterprise customers with active Software Assurance subscription in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 enterprise offerings outside of this offer"

does this mean that i have windows enterprise do i get windows 10 enterprise for free? .

If you've got software assurance then you're entitled to whatever the latest OS is.

Having said that you will still need to coordinate the migration from Windows 7 => Windows 10, Ms won't just auto upgrade your clients via Windows Update.

Hi,

this mean that if you hve an active Software Assurance(SA) for your Windows 7 Enterprise in volume licensing contract, you will upgrade FREE to Windows 10 Enterprise Edition through VLSC.
