Runni8ng Civ III under Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • have run Civ III successfully for years on this PC, but suddenly it started asking for me to "log on with administrative privileges and try again" - but I AM signed on with admin. privileges and resetting them doesn't help.  Any ideas?  This started happening after I upgraded to Windows 10, found it wasn't compatible with Civ III, and reverted to Windows 7.  It all ran fine for a couple of weeks before this problem started.

  • Hi,

assuming you mean, http://www.civilization.com/ (an online computer game), then contact your company's system administrators to ask their permission to use the company's computers for your personal web surfing... It would appear that they have applied restrictions limiting what web sites you can access from your company network.

If this is your personal home computer, it would appear that your parents have applied the restrictions.

Either way it appears as Game Over.

    Regards.
