Document Set View Option Gone? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm not sure when it disappeared, but the option (pictured below) previously available in Document Set Settings to change the Doc Set specific view is no longer there. The screenshot below is from a pre-SP1 install of SharePoint Server 2010.

This option is no longer present in SP2010 SP1 with the October 2011 CU.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

    Pete

  • It has not disappeared in SP1/December CU. However, the "Welcome Page View" section is only available if you are looking at the document set settings page when viewing the contenttype from a document library. It is not available when looking at document set settings from the site collections site contenttypes.

  • Thanks Steve. That was it. I hadn't tried it that was as we're using content type syndication and the doc set content type was read-only.
