Link more than one project to a Web Site RRS feed

  • Question

  • For our business processes a website for each project is just overkill! For example, all our projects could use the same Issues, Risks, and Deliverables list as well as some other custom lists before ever getting close to Microsofts recommended limits.

Project 2010 does not allow linking one web site to more than one project. Does Project 2013 allow this? Am I the only one who thinks a site for each project is not always necessary?

    Thanks,

  • Hello Callistus,

This behavior is by design since 2007 and won't be different in 2013,  since each project plan is associated with individual project site, which has unique ID associated with it. Since ID's are unique can not be consumed multiple times to associate with different project sites.

I think with some additional efforts you may able to create SSRS report.

    Hope this helps.

    Happy Holidays
