How can I get windows 7 sp1 to load a print driver that's compatible with the HP printer that's on my home network wirelessly. My laptop see's it, but won't load a driver?

    Question

  • I can't seem to get Windows 7 SP1 to load a driver for an HP printer that is on my home network. My laptop sees it but won't let me make it the default printer or load a driver so that I can link to it wirelessly. I restored my laptop back to windows 7 because Windows 10 was moving too slow. I only have 4gigs of memory, and windows 10 probably runs better with 8gigs of memory.

  • Hi,

Based on your description, it seems that your printer driver may be corrupted.

I’m afraid your best bet is connecting HP for the latest driver for Windows 7.
