Drag and drop RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows server 2012 , Rd server farm with 4 sesson hosts - does 2012 allow drag and drop from users local app like outlook attahcment to the published remote application? I understand that 2008 has this limitation hard coded but cannot find any info if 2012 removed this limitation - if it did I cannot find how to accomplish it.

    Thanks

    Andrew

  • Hi,

Unfortunately, drag and drop is not supported.

However, you might already know that cut-n-paste (ctrl+c / ctrl+v) works from your local computer to a remote desktop session in 2008 R2 and up (even when copying attachments from for example Outlook.).
