Exchange 2010 to 2013 public folders migration completed successfully, but can't see public folders in Outlook RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have migrated successfully public folders from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 following TechNet instructions. I have checked that everything is ok, in my ECP webpage I can see all public folders and subfolders.

But in Outlook clients, I can't see any public folder. There is no reference to them, I only can see the users mailbox. I have also checked the "Folders" option in Outlook, but nothing.

I also have created an email address to the "PublicFolder" user.

    Any idea?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

After several time waiting, public folders have appeared in Outlook without any action! I have checked this in powershell:

    Test-OutlookWebServices -ClientAccessServer "servername" -Identity myemail@mydomain.com -MailboxCredential (Get-Credential)

    All results was successfully.

It is important to créate an email address to publicfolder user and ensure that autodiscover is working properly.

    Thank you
