    Dears,

    i am planning to migrate my 2012 R2 active directory to 2019 and demote the 2012 R2.

    However, my 2012 r2 DC has adfs role installed and configured.

    Therefore, we should migrate adfs to 2019 ( correct me if i'm wrong)

    please can someone advise on the adfs migration?

    appreciated if anyone can share his experience on the topic.

    Hiya,

    Upgrading a Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016 AD FS farm to Windows Server 2019

    I've been doing both "New farm" and "Mixed mode" approach without any problems. Usually "Mixed mode" is preferred if you have custom components, which are not documented :)
