Migrating secondary site servers and "Waiting to install package"

Question
-
When migrating secondary site servers in SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 (SP1 CU2) I'm getting status "Waiting
to install package" on every package at the new DP (I'm looking in the report called "All active content distributions"). When I select an application under package name I'm getting the staus message "Distribution Manager successfully distributed package".In distmgr.log there is no activity.
The status viewed in \Monitoring\Overview\Distribution Status\Distribution Point Configuration Status is "In progress" and will not turn to "Completed".
The walk around for now is to "update distributions Points" for each package. The data will not be copied cause it's already in place but the distribution status will turn to succeded.
I can not figure out what's going wrong and how to fix it, anyone got this error?

Hi,
Have you checked your migmctrl.log when migrating SCCM 2007 secondary site to SCCM 2012 DP? (This log is located on the top-level site in the System Center 2012 Configuration Manager hierarchy, and each child primary site.) Did this log show that the migration is successful? And Distmgr.log should record the information about upgrade.

In the migmctrl.log I can follow the uninstall of the old secondary site and the installation of DP role, no particular error what I can see.
Efter a while i get the status "Completed upgrade distribution point" in "\Administration\Overview\Migration\Distribution Point Migration"
In the distmgr.log I can follow install of DP role and I get "Distribution Point installation\upgrade successfully completed on server "["Display=\" as a status message from SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER.
I can't find anything going wrong besides that the packages (81) from the old DP never gets the status completed.
The packages added after DP upgrade are distributed with success.

Hi,
How about PkgXferMgr.log and SMSdpmon.log on the site server? Is there any errors?

I'll see if I can catch the logfiles when we are migrating the next site....Wednesday, November 20, 2013 5:33 PM
