FIM 2010 support for SQL 2012 SP1 ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have gathered from other posts in this forum that FIM 2010 R2 SP1 is supported on SQL Server 2012 to allow install of FIM due to a prereq check, if nothing else).

Is there any roadmap or plan for when these might be supported with FIM 2010 R2 SP1?  Maybe in a future update?

I'm researching FIM 2010 R2 SP1 and there is a desire for us to install it for the addition of group management through the portal, if nothing else.

    THX HELP ME!

  • We only document support for major releases, e.g. "SQL Server 2012", and minor releases, e.g. "SQL Server 2008 R2". Service Packs are implicitly supported and you are free to apply a service pack at your own will. Service Packs should always be applied within 1 year of release.
