How to create a channel using connector

Hi Experts,
SCOM is running in two environments. Test as well as production
Unfortunately, The test system doesnt have the internet facility and hence the alerts are not received at our end.
What we want is to forward the SCOM test alerts to production and Production will route to alerts to the our group id.
Request you to kindly mention the step by step procedure ( if it is possible)
This is for our client, so the email address used to send emails to our group id is different company address. I have just started to learn SCOM so I am not aware of the technical terms. Request you to send me the step by step procedure, which a Lehman can use.
Thanks in advance.
