EMC Can not Open Exchange 2010 SP1 RRS feed

    Dear All

    while opening EMC i am receiving Error as follows

    "starting a command on remote server failed with the following error message THe Winrm client cannot complete the operation with in the specified time check if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and firewall exception for windows remote management services is enabled."

    I have temporarily done a workaround by copying the "Exchange Management Console" config file from the other HT/MB server in to this worked fine but take a time to open

    Dear Rowen

    Thanks for your response. i have solved by doing these steps

    1) first i have disable IPV6 (do not known how it was enabled)

    2) Edit the Bindings in IIS (Its was specifically on IP) i have changed to All Unassigned

    3)re-copy the "Exchange management console" config  in to the server  back

    started works................

    Dear RaSa,

    Regarding to your question I have some suggestions:

    1 Verify whether there's incorrect host file entry for server name
       If there is please remove it.

    2 Verify whether you have a file named w3wp.exe.config under c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\w3wp.exe.config.                                                                                     If you do please delete this file.

    3 netsh winhttp>show proxy
      detect that whether there is a proxy set & used by WinRM
      Remove or Adjust the Winhttp proxy to exclude the exchange servers from this configuration
      Netsh winhttp set proxy proxy-server="x.x.x.x:8080" bypass-list="*.contoso.com"
