I applaud your management for wanting users to report their time promptly in Project Server 2010.  However, there is no way within the Project Server 2010 system to require this.  Instead, your management must make this a training and performance issue with all users.  Teach them how to fill in the timesheet properly on a daily basis, and then your managers must hold everyone responsible for this.  I have worked with several companies where it is an offense that can get you fired if you do not fill in your timesheet every day.  So, I know that management can mandate this and can make it happen as a result.  Hope this helps.

  • Thanks Dale, your reply was so helpful and made me stop searching for the answer.

But Project Server should have this feature. I don't know how and why they have not thought about this earlier.
