  • Power maps crashes excel 2013 - Windows 10

    HP Probook 640 G2 running windows 10

    RAM - 4GB

    Processor - Intel Core i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz

    Motherboard - HP 80FD

    Excel 2013 installed

    - Installed Power maps preview for excel

Load Excel > Options > Addin 's > COMM Addins > Microsoft Power Map
Click Insert tab > Click 'Map'

Excel has stopped working - Debug? > click yes

"An unhandled win32 expecxtion ocured in EXCEL.EXE {13060}.
Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error.
No installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled. In Visual Studio,
Just-In-Time debugging can be enabled from Tools?Options/Debugging/Just-In-Time"

    - No debugging option in settings

Once add in enabled and excel crashes, try to open again and states

"Excel is running into problems with the 'microsoft power map' add-in. If this keeps happening, disabled this add-in and check for available updates. Do you want to disabled now? Select 'yes' and excel will open. Try to re-add addin and excel crashes again

Ran repair on office and same issue.

Power maps preview for excel installed and removed multiple times with same issue

Looked through previous Technet entries ect for this issue. No resolution has been provided and this is being reported as an issue by multiple people using excel 2013 and windows 10
