Why are SSP databases created in Simple recovery mode?

Hi

I notice that the SSP databases (SharedServicesN_DB and SharedServicesN_Search_DB) are created in Simple Recovery mode. Why is this? Is it best practice to leave them in Simple mode?

Is it because the Search DB can be rebuilt by running a Full crawl? But what about the SharedServicesN_DB? Should I be changing this to Full recovery mode?

Because the trasaction logs can become very large, consider that the transaction log size of the SSP databases may become very large. To work around this, consider having a recovery plan that truncates transaction logs as necessary.
