Issue with User Profile and UserInfo table in Content Database RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have a SP 2007 environment. We have a dev and a prod environment both using same AD for UserProfile.

    For a particular user, I am not able to send alerts, task approvals (any kind of mail notification) from my prod environment whereas from dev environment it is working fine.

    This user initially had a different mail id and has change it recently.

    I have checked and confirmed that User Profile Syn has been running successfully in my prod environment.

    Also when I view user's profile in SSP, it seems to be fine.

    Also when I queried the UserInfo table in my content db, where I have 3 databases for one web app, I saw that for first db and in that also for one particular site, the user is active (i.e. IsActive = 1 in UserInfo) and for that particular site, the email id is still the old one.

    For 3rd db for one particular site the user is active but has email id the new one.

    I tried sending mail from both the sites but to no use.

    I even tried clearing the cache as specified at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939308 but no use.

    Any ideas ?

    Remove the user from the site collection where his details are not updated and add him again.
