Delist IP Address

    Question

  • This is Exchnage 2016 deployment. For some reason out IP has been in banned sending IP lists.

We've tried the O365 Anti-Spam IP Delist Portal.  We first tried this around 5 hours ago.  At which point we were told that in about 30 minutes the IP address would be delisted.  However,  the problem continued,  so we've tried again (and again etc).  Now when we try to delist we get a message saying "The request to delist IP address XXX has been denied and we have escalated your request to Microsoft support.  However, there's no information on turnaround time or how to contact the correct Support team.

This issue is huge for us - we are unable to contact numerous clients and candidates until it's resolved.

We aren't currently Office 365 customers (though we are considering this as a solution). we are right now using Microsoft Exchnage 2016. Is there any other way we can expedite unblocking our IP address.

  • So you're saying that Office 365 has blacklisted you?  I'm sorry but nobody here has the ability to do anything more than point you to that portal.

  • Hello Ahmad,

Can you send message to other recipient, for example: Gmail.com?

If this issue occurs on all outbound mail flow, please contact your ISP and double check the DNS records for your environment, for example A record, CNAME, SPF and Reverse PTR Record.
Those records are very important to verify your domain, and ensure the reliable mail flow.

If the outbound issue only occurs when send message to Office 365, ask a request to remove your IP from the Office 365 blocked senders list.
Note: I suppose you have been ask it with Microsoft, please know that it might cause some day delay, and appreciate for your patience.

Meanwhile, if the message fails to deliver to Outlook.com, please refer to Smart Network Data Service to ask a request.

    Best Regards,

    Allen Wang
