Not able to remove shared mailboxes from Outlook2016

    Question

  • Access to shared mailboxes is granted via o365 security group( Full access ). User was removed from those groups however mailboxes are still appearing in Outlook ( When im trying to open it, message is appearing: Cannot display the folder..... )

    Tried to create new profile, reinstall office, on different machine problem is the same.

    Any clue what is happening?

    Is this an Exchange Online or hybrid environment?

    Have you tried to remove it via File>Info>Account Settings>Change>More Settings...>"Advanced" tab?

  • Hello

     Sorry for late reply. Managed to sort it out: Just added access to mailbox via PS ( directly for user - no via Security Group )with -Automapping $false and then removed it. Problem solved :)
