After april CU update on LYNC 2010 - federated domain not able to do IM

    We have LYNC 2010. and recently we have updated latest CU April 2016 on all role of LYNC 2010.

    in our LYNC 2010 environment Partner discover is disabled so in LYNC 2010 we need to add federated SIP domain.

    we have some Office 365 partners domain where we can do chat as at their end partner discover is enabled.

    After CU update some users reported now they are not able to see presence with Office 365 federated domain and not able to do IM

    Kindly suggest how to troubleshoot this issue

    Note: Those office 365 federated domain able to do chat with other customers. so there is no issue at their end.

    we have checked SRV records and these are looks fine even those federated domains which are added , working fie

  • Hi,

    i would suggest to turn on logging on a client from your organisation, then try to open a chat with the office 365 user.

    Use Snooper thats part of this package to see whats happening:
