Where can I see the name of the Project Site Owner? RRS feed

  • Question

  • In Project Server 2010, I would like to see the name of the person owning the Project Site (apart from Project owner).

Is there any field that stores this information?

    Thanks in advance.

  •  Rest of the owners and better to say web administrators falls under Web Administrator sharepoint group of that particular site. You can see all the administrators under that group.

Thanks and let me know in case I am wrong in my understanding regarding your query

  • Where are you trying to make this visible? If on the individual site you can view this by looking at the site owners group via SharePoint. If you are trying to create a report via SSRS this post may be of help - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/3bcb6ff1-5f5f-4b79-b8f6-ca985a7b364a/query-to-retrieve-users-in-the-owners-group-of-s-sharepoint-site?forum=sharepointgenerallegacy

  • That is pure SharePoiont stuff, so you won't find it in PWA db. As suggested by other do it manually or you can use object model to retrieve that info from SP db.

  • Hi,

for project site, we talk about web administrator not owner like project.

so to identify project site administrator.

1- navigate to your project site.

    2- click site actions

    3- click site permissions

4- look for users with web admistrator permissions

    Hope this help you
