Complicated warning in ATA RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using ATA with Lightweight gateway in our network.
We have never changed any password in our domain, but we see this warning in specific machine profile.

    Account Password was Changed.

(I want to upload image but my account is not activated.)

This is complicated because no user has been mentioned, Is it work group account or domain account?
I think that ATA does not show any warning with work group activities, Is it true?

I check user's passwords who access this computer with "net user" command but "password set date" is very old and it shows that we have never changed the password.

    Best Regard.

  • Hard to be sure without the screenshot, but I think it means that the Machine account password was changed,

I believe machines auto change passwords every 30 days if I am not mistaken.

  • Thanks Mr. Ofek.

The account's password using this machine set to "Never expire".

    Please active my account.

    Best Regard.

  • Are you sure the *machine account" (not the account using this machine) is set to never expire?

What did you mean by "active my account" ?

I think this issue might be a bit complicated to handle over the forum, I suggest to open a support ticket and have an engineer talk to you and maybe do a shared screen session to research the issue.

  • Hi, I want to upload screenshot from this issue but it is not allowed because my account was not activated. (it returned "body text can not contain images or links until we can verify your account.")

    Best Regard.

  • I am not controlling the forum :-) I guess you need to activate your account from your profile by sending a verification link like I did for my own account long time ago, if it's not working contact the forums support, it's not specific to ATA.
